If you asked ChatGPT to robotically plot out a model Asian-American trajectory, it would look like this: math competitions and classical piano, Stanford computer science, megacorp software engineering, unicorn startup, have baby.

I’d like to tell you how it felt from the inside, to actually live that way. But sometimes I will tell you about other things instead, like psychedelics or talking to girls.
